Stanmore is a suburban area of the London Borough of Harrow, in north-west London. It is situated 11 miles (18km) northwest of Charing Cross.
The area is home to Stanmore Hill, one of the highest points of London, 152 metres (499ft) high.
Stanmore Village railway station was open for train services between 1890 and 1952. Stanmore tube station opened in 1932.
